About the Challenge

SUBMISSIONS ARE NOT BEING TAKEN THROUGH DEVPOST!!! We are hosting this game jam on the Itch platform, so please join here. Detailed rules are also listed on the Itch page.

OinkJam 2026 is a super cool, beginner-friendly game jam (a hackathon, but for games!) that takes place over the span of two weeks, from Jan 23 to Feb 6. Game jams are a great way to commit to a project and see it through! Anyone is welcome to join, but we especially hope to encourage girls and other gender-minority youth to participate in this game jam. :)

Join our Discord server to chat with other participants (and form teams if you'd like), ask any questions, and share your work!!

Requirements

What to Submit

Any kind of video game with any engine, as long as it incorporates one of our two given themes! Themes can be suggested in our Discord server, and will be voted on by the community. We will release the two themes an hour before the game jam starts.

Your game must be submitted through our Itch page!
